Demo reel of my work. Majority of the footage was shot on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, with some additional shots recorded on a Nikon D5200. Features various works such as music videos, fashion films, promos, live events, performances and documentaries.

Though Joseph had a home at the time of shooting, he has unfortunately lost it as of the completion of this video due to being unable to keep up with rent payments. If the song can be described it one word, Bru Lei put it succinctly: "Serenity."

Elementary school was the beginning of an impression that followed Quartez Harris through high school. He was evaluated for an IEP (Individualize Education Program) that specifically indicated he possessed poor writing expression and reading comprehension. Today he is a recent graduate from The Ohio State University and a newly published author. His book is entitled, “Nothing, but Skin.”

The Get Out Project is a collaboration between myself and Michael Mullen II of LenSight Productions and Jerry Valentine of the Get Out Network. It is a series of interviews that highlight Ohio born-and-raised talent: athletes, artists, poets, musicians, etc. In particular, it is focused on young African-Americans that have found their own voice and success. It is with their stories that we hope to inspire other African-American youths who are struggling to find their own direction, or to motivate them to "get up, get out, and do something."

Shot primarily on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, with the first segment shot on a Nikon D5200. Filmed over the spring, summer and fall of 2014. Originally conceived as seven individual videos, this version was created for the theatrical screening at the Gateway Theater in Columbus, Ohio. The segments for Sydney Stewart, James Drakeford and DJ Bandcamp were edited by my partner Michael Mullen II, while those featuring Christina Manning, Terry Tertiary, Quartez Harris and Jasmine Smith were edited by myself.

Guitarist and instructor Jesse Henry has developed a visually intuitive way to teach kids ages six through twelve how to learn and play guitar. This video serves as an introduction to his methods, as well as highlighting different parts of his book series dedicated to the practice.
